Bill
Glass, all-pro linebacker on the 1964 NFL world Champion
Cleveland Browns, went to seminary while playing pro ball.
He began city-wide evangelism crusades in 1969, and in 1972
conducted an evangelism event at a prison in Marion, OH.
Since then Bill has been faithful to God's
calling, and has spoken to more prisoners than any person that
has ever lived. Bill pioneered the use of bands, singers,
professional athletes, motorcycles, race cars, comedians, magicians,
and other on-stage talent to bring lost inmates outside in the
prison yard (rather than the chapel) to hear
the message of hope in Christ.

What an awesome 3 days for the
2008 Atlanta Weekend of Champions. The host hotel was
Holiday Inn Airport, and our host church was New Hope North in
Fayetteville. It was a great prison weekend, touching a
lot of lives for Christ.
A big thanks to the 451 volunteers (over 100
freshmen), who visited 12 correctional facilities, and prayed
with over 3,000 inmates that made a decision to follow Jesus!
Please keep praying for the ongoing follow-up
teams that return to help these new believers grow in their
faith.
